wood column. Really solid (I believe oak), heavy, and no rot. Very good piece for repurposing. Measures 84" long and 81/2" wide at each end. There is a taper near the top. This is a hollow post with the sidewalls determining 11/2" thick. Stand images are not replicate, it is revealing the condition of both sides. Call or text.
